This first flush spring tea comes from the Rohini Tea Estate in the Darjeeling region of India. Due to the high elevation of the area, the tea bushes grow more slowly, which allows them more time to develop their distinctive Darjeeling flavor. Bright fruit blossom notes, silky texture with white grape and floral notes. Soft finish. A wonderful rarity!
Steeping: 1 teaspoon per cup, 212 degrees F, 3 minutes
First flush tea leaves often appear more like green tea leaves, however, these are a black tea.
Our teas are sold by the ounce and are packaged in resealable food-safe bags.
